A wide vocal range is really useful for a signer. It makes a singer can sing all songs easily without any trouble called vocal range. Sometimes, limited vocal range makes us feel difficult to sing many types of songs, especially requiring wide range songs. So how to deal with that? Is there any magic technique to increase vocal range?
The Answer is No. There isn't any technique that can make us easily increase our octave and all we have to do is practice. But it's imperative to practice with the effective program to get the best result in increasing vocal range. Ok, lets take the point!
Basically, to learn how to increase vocal range, you must learn the 2 muscle coordination’s that allow you to sing in your higher vocal registers. These are head voice and mixed voice.
Head voice is a falsetto voice. You wont pay much effort to sing with this. All you need is consistency of notes those are chimed by your voice.
It's different with mixed voice. Using your mixed voice properly is really the primary issue. Your mixed voice will allow you to sing higher notes, but with the richness and fullness you usually sing lower notes. That means, essentially, that you will no longer sing in a falsetto or nasal sounding voice when you try to sing notes in a higher vocal range. So how to sing higher notes with mixed voice? The key is mastering the warms-up and practice to reach higher notes day by day. At least you must try to reach one note higher than the maximum note that you can reach today. But it's imperative to keep your voice healthy. Do the proper warming up and don't force your voice if you feel tired or unable to reach the note. don't forget to drink plenty water after practice to get the best result. Just remember, you need to find the vocal exercises that will help you to strengthen and control the proper muscles. So, learn the proper vocal exercises and sing as much as you want without worrying about damaging your vocal chords, losing your voice or hurting the ears of those around you by singing off key. Once you complete those things, you wont no longer feel difficult to sing the higher notes and increase your vocal range.
